Heh, Leon has that hesitant look in his eye again; the one that says, "I can trust you on this, right Ada?" He tends to have that kind of expression around Ada. I mean, obviously there're mutual feelings between the two of them, but Ada, as always, loves to play the part of the hard-to-get femme fatale. From what I know, I think these two trust each other to a pretty big degree considering each others' backgrounds, but both of them know to expect more than a few secrets and a couple of betrayals along the line.
Nice work! Good job capturing their individual likenesses (and character,) and with some of the more traditional techniques in particular. The atmosphere also works very well; the balance of colors present in the background and in the characters' appearances gives the impression of a Resident Evil moment of humor.
I like their chemistry and the fact that they propably will never get eachother keeps it going and interesting. It's unique how honest their respect and trust towards each other is tho they don't really even know eachother, and tho there is that certain amount of betrayal too!
It's definitely one of the more intriguing parts of the RE series--their "cat-and-mouse" dynamic. Right up there with Chris and Jill. Their relationship has some genuine romance in it, that's for sure. And while the "femme fatale" is considered pretty cliche nowadays, from what I know of the series, Leon and Ada have some very clear, lighthearted chemistry, you're right.
Also, Ada...well, she's definitely not ALL femme fatale. Sure, she's technically a "third party agent" in the grand scheme of things, and has betrayed Leon's trust on more than one occasion, but she's fond of Leon as much as he's fond of her. She's always come through for him in the end and ensured he survives all the crap Umbrella (and its successors) throw at him...and let's not forget their almost iconic bantering. All because of one hellish series of events in 1998...the destruction of Raccoon City. Funny how they've kept it going for so long, eh? I just hope RE 7, whenever that comes out, is the series' "magnum opus".
...and then Leon opened the door and his face was microwaved off or something. I love how Leon's like "Wait, what?" and Ada's like "Oh, come on, it'll be fun!". They really look like themselves. And the lighting is really good too, especially on their faces. I think there's something a bit off about Ada's torso but I can't really say what so never mind I guess... Anyway, it's great!
